The inaugural 1954 Project Luminary Awards celebrated the legacy of excellence in Black education and the five Luminaries who are continuing this tradition.
The 1954 Project was honored to welcome Cookie and Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Common, Jay Ellis, Dr. Nzinga Harrison, Lauren Stoute, and many other special guests to celebrate our Luminaries and the organization's work.
